Bar Harbor KOA
The Bar Harbor KOA features 3,500 feet of Atlantic shoreline by the entrance to Acadia National Park and includes a private swimming beach and an occasional sideshow from the local seals. Launch your boat or rent a kayak for a loon's-eye view of Mount Desert Island, its wooded contours rising more than 1,500 feet up Cadillac Mountain. An hourly shuttle runs from KOA to Bar Harbor in season. Directions Situated at the head of Mount Desert Island. Follow Rt 1A to Ellsworth and Route 3 to Bar Harbor.
